Coronavirus (COVID - 19)
Updated - 5th August 2020
We have been working hard to re-open the club for the enjoyment of our members and are pleased to announce that we now open every Saturday from 12:00 noon until 21:00. We hope to extend opening times in line with demand as we start the new season.
A huge thank you to those volunteers that helped make this possible. We have been able to deep clean the lounge areas, bar, Jubilee and Berkshire rooms. Carpets and Upholstery have been cleaned, windows and walls steam cleaned, patio area and paths cleaned and borders weeded.
To help protect the safety of all our guests and staff, we’re making some necessary changes both inside and outside the club to comply with government guidelines. Deep cleaning of the lounge, bar, Jubilee and Berkshire rooms has been completed which included carpet and upholstery cleaning, steam cleaning of windows and cleaning of all surfaces and touch points. A huge thank you to all members that volunteered their time to make this possible.
We have introduced additional cleaning processes for toilets, bar and lounge areas which will be repeated every 30 minutes.
(Check sheets are posted by the toilets and bar showing activity and inspections.)
CASHLESS PAYMENTS ONLY
In order to minimise risk we will also only be accepting payment by card. Contactless where possible and chip and pin when required. The payment machine will be sanitised after each use.
NHS Test & Trace
We will be asking all customers to complete the on-line registration form on arrival at the club. Your data will be stored securely for 21 days and then deleted.
We have a queuing system for the bar and toilets, so please follow the guide lines on the floor to help others feel comfortable. There is a plan of the club showing queuing, one way and two way traffic areas requiring awareness of others and the need to give way.

We will be offering a limited re-opening menu which includes many of your favourites.
Although there are no legal requirements for face masks to be worn, we encourage their use when moving to and from your table. when moving to and from your table - this is with the aim to make all members fell safe and will help reassure everyone.
We appreciate your co-operation and understanding during these times and can’t wait to welcome you all back.
The tennis courts are open and available for members and non members.
What's NEW ?
Can you help? We're asking asking all members of Berkshire County Sports Club to help raise funds to urgently replace the carpet on the all weather pitch.
The cost for replacement of the carpet is £175,000.
The great news is that we have already raised £78,982 so we're well on the way. We have a grant application in with the Hockey Foundation requesting £50,000 which means, that if successful we still need to raise £46,018. We would like to request all clubs that use the AWP to consider donations to reduce this target further and remind all members that have not yet donated to pitch squares pick one or more of the remaining squares and donate with gift aid.
Please also register to support the monthly 500 Club Lottery and if you have forgotten to register for Amazon smile please do it today!
