Refurbishment
We need your help and will now focus all our fundraising efforts to raise £175,000
Most critically as the pitch is
rapidly reaching end of life we
urgently need to replace the
playing surface.
The cost for replacement of
the carpet is £175,000.
The great news is that we have
already raised £77,282 so we're
well on the way. Sadly the Hockey
Foundation rejected our bid for
£50,000 but Sonning Hockey Club
agreed a terrific donation of
£25,700 so we now only need to
raise a further £95,090 to pay back
the loans we have taken out.
The committee would like to take
this opportunity to thank two very
generous members who have
made unsecured loans to the club
to ensure we could proceed with
the project.
We would also like to remind all
members that have not yet
donated to pitch squares to pick
one or more of the remaining
squares and donate with gift aid.
