500 Club Lottery
Register your interest to join the monthly draw
For a monthly club lottery to work we need a minimum number of participants to cover the cost of the prize fund and raise a reasonable amount towards on going club renovation projects.
Our ambition is to build the number of players each month to reach 500 or more - hence the name 500 Club Lottery.
Of course to get there we need to get started so initially we are looking for just 100 players (or 100 lucky numbers if players have more than one) to get up and running.
How much does it cost?
We have reduced the cost to play from £10 to £5 per month which will buy one numbered entry in the draw. Players can purchase between one and five lucky numbers each month (any participant that want to purchase more lucky numbers per month can do so by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
All we ask is that participants agree to sign up for a minimum of 12 months. This will ensure that we can create a stable, growing, monthly prize draw.
What happens to the money raised?
Once the prizes have been paid out, every penny goes to the BCSC fundraising account. Initially these funds will support the AWP pitch replacement. Moving forward this will be used to improve facilities across the club.
The lottery is being run by club volunteers so there are no fees or commissions to pay. Using standing orders for payments means there are no bank charges either.
What can I win?
With 100 players entered in the monthly draw the 3 prizes will be;
1st Prize £100
2nd Prize £50
3rd Prize £10
When we reach 200 players the monthly prizes will be;
1st Prize £200
2nd Prize £100
3rd Prize £20
When we reach 500 players the monthly prizes will be;
1st Prize £500
2nd Prize £250
3rd Prize £50
When we reach 100 players the monthly prizes will be;
1st Prize £1000
2nd Prize £500
3rd Prize £100

Simply let us know that you want to play by completing the form below please also select the number of entries you would like to make each month between 1 and 5.
When we reach a minimum of 100 players (or 100 numbers in the draw) we will notify you by email and ask you to set up a monthly repeating standing order making a payment on the 28th day of each month.
Once all players have set up their standing orders and more than 50 payments have been received, we will draw the lottery on the first Saturday after the 28th of every month subject to a minimum of 100 players (or 100 luck numbers purchased) each month.
One unique number will be allocated to each £5 stake.
The draw will take place in the lounge bar at Berkshire County Sports Club and will be public, with a member of the club acting as an independent witness. If this is not possible for any reason then the draw will take place via a live zoom event.
The first number drawn will be the first prize, second number the second prize and the third number the 3rd prize.
All winners will be notified by email and their winnings will be transferred to their bank account.
Winners details will also be displayed on this website and may also be communicated by email, social media and on the publicity screens at the club.
All proceeds from the lottery (total staked less the prize money paid out) will contribute 100% to renovation fundraising.
